Wonderful to find that "Miss Blaine's Prefect and the Golden Samovar" is among twenty novels chosen by the Scottish Book Trust and Edinburgh City of Literature to celebrate Edinburgh becoming the world's first UNESCO City of Literature twenty years ago. It's a particular thrill to be listed alongside Muriel Spark's "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie," the inspiration for my "Miss Blaine's Prefect" series.
